Celine Dion Postpones Aussie Shows
Canadian songstress Celine Dion has postponed her Brisbane and Melbourne shows so she can recover from a minor throat infection and irritated sinuses.
The Brisbane show, which was originally scheduled for tonight, will now be staged on Monday 31 March. Next week’s Melbourne show has been pushed back to Wedensday 2 April.
The two Sydney shows and the Perth show will be unaffected by these changes. Ticket holders unable to attend the rescheduled gigs can see the venue for a full refund.

I hope Celine is okay, I’m really looking forward to seeing her on the weekend at Acer Arena, and I was so delighted when I found out recently that Anthony Callea will be her special guest support on the Australian leg of her tour, so thats an added bonus for me. I could only dream that they did a song together. ( I know I’m just dreaming).
So a speedy recovery, its sure not the type of show you could do with a bad throat given her industrial strength ballads. This tour has been a long time coming, and I’m sure she was dissappointed about the changes, but at least it was a postponment and not a cancellation like Christina’s.(fingers crossed).

Hey Lucy. I believe Celine’s OK, but just making sure her voice is 100% before she takes the stage again. While the postponements are disappointing, I’m sure she’d be even more disappointed if she couldn’t give you a full strength show. I’m sure it’ll all be worth the wait. My parents went and saw her in 1997 and my Dad, who wasn’t a fan at all, was won over.
