Divinyls Donate Guitar for Charity
One of the most generous bands in rock, The Divinyls, have donated a signed guitar to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
The Divinyls were inspired to donate the guitar after hearing the story of 12-year-old cystic fibrosis sufferer Zoe. The young girl, who has been in and out of hospital all her life, is the granddaughter of Victorian winemakers Tricia and Gavan Oakley.
The raffle for the signed Schectar guitar will be drawn at the 2008 Yarra Valley Grape Grazing Festival next month. But you don’t need to be there to own this piece of Aussie rock history. You can buy a raffle ticket for just $5 online.
