Guy Sebastian Performs on Asian Idol

Guy Sebastian jetted to Jakarta this week to perform on Asian Idol. Apparently this was like a mini version of World Idol (anyone else remember that?), where six Eastern nations battled for the title.

Now, Hady Mirza of Singapore won, but I figured my readers might be more interested in checking out Guy Sebastian’s duet with Indonesian Idol, Mike Mohede. The pair sang Guy’s debut single “Angels Brought Me Here.”

Guy also apparently performed a medley of hits from The Memphis Album on the show. This is great exposure for Guy, who’s set to release his new soul album in India, China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei.

Thanks for putting this story and video on. Guy did perform a Medley of some of the songs on The Memphis Album. Here is the youtube address for that one:

The picture quality of that one is not good, but the voice is brilliant as usual.

Thanks for those links Sammy. You’re right - even when the video quality isn’t the best that voice just shines through.

yummy Guy!!! And Mike has a great voice, just a took a few seconds to kick in, and his higher notes are great. No wonder he is the Indonesian Idol. Of course, Guy is simply - amazing. What a musician and artiste
