Happy Melbourne Cup!
It’s Melbourne Cup Day! I’m one of those folks who have very little interest in horse racing for the rest of the year, but who religiously heads down to the TAB to put a bet on this one. But my favourite part of the day is the opportunity to wear a pretty dress and an outrageous hat and indulge in a few glasses of bubbly. No matter how you like to spend it, I thought I’d mark the day with an Aussie horsey classic, “The Horses” by Daryl Braithwaite. Enjoy, and I hope you back a winner!
