Michael Chugg Nominated for International Award

Music promoter extraordinaire Michael Chugg has capped off a big year with a Pollstar Concert Industry Award nomination. The Aussie tour guru is up for international promoter of the year.

The awards aren’t on until February 7, which gives Chuggy plenty of time to prepare his acceptance speech.

If Michael Chugg doesn’t win there’s no justice in this world. This year he brought big names like Elton John, John Mayer, Ben Harper, Gwen Stefani, Bob Dylan, and Nine Inch Nails to our shores. He also turned 60 but shows no signs of slowing down. He’s already announced big tours with Santana, Brooks & Dunn, Ozzy Osbourne, and Sinead O’Connor for 2008.
