Mika Cancels V Fest Appearance

Sorry Mika fans. It looks like the flamboyant pop star won’t play our V Festival after all.
Mika blames scheduling conflicts for his decision to back out of the festival.

“In an effort to create the best album possible for fans, Mika will need additional time to record in London,” according to a V Festival press release.

“He extends many apologies to anyone who has purchased tickets for the inconvenience and disappointment this cancellation may cause.”

The festival still has a killer line up, with the Smashing Pumpkins, Duran Duran, and Queens of the Stone Age set to appear. But it’s cold comfort for Aussie Mika lovers.
