New Song Obsession: “Clean White Love” by Lisa Mitchell

November 18, 2009 by lkatulka

Lisa Mitchell has followed up “Coin Laundry” with another perfect slice of indie pop. The bubbly “Clean White Love” makes me think of lazy summer days, despite the film clip being shot in the colder climes of the United Kingdom. Lisa’s currently there on tour, but hopefully we’ll see her back out here really soon.

How is Lisa Mitchell creating Indie pop when she is signed to Warner AU and Sony UK?

Indie means independant, and she is hardly that.

Actually, her management’s Scorpio Music which allows her the creative freedom to be classed as an independent artist. The big labels have distribution deals with her, but so far as the creative side goes it’s definitely indie.
