Thanks Anna! Well, we as we all know the only way to make sure he’s in the top 12 is to vote. There seems to be a lot of fans out there, but there’s always that danger that people assume everyone else is voting for their favourite singer. And look how many great people have been sent home because of it! Fingers crossed he makes top 12 - I’m sure there’ll be a lot of heartbroken people if he doesn’t!

Kate - I hear you. Beauty can be both a blessing and a curse. From what we’ve all seen of Matt he’s super talented, but when the young girls get on board sometimes that cause a bit of a backlash. One thing’s for certain, he’s a lot more than just a pretty face.

This guy has a lot more going for him than just looks and appeal to young girls he’s got a top voice. That comment about him not understanding Stevies lyrics because he’s from “cromer” and grew up with everything on a platter is garbage - he sung that song with true soul and you can’t fake that. The whole point of ghetto music is that it doesn’t matter where you come from! If you got soul you got it, and this guy does. Now don’t lose it listening to garbage!

matt is really a great singer, but he is not the best. it would be really sad to see matt go all the way, simply because he has thousands of teenage girl fans that are only supporting him because he is gorgeous. Vote on talent, not for looks. Either way matt will be famous and you can all continue to look at him. but dont deprive those finalist who really do deserve to win it becasue they arent hot, or more so, a girl.

Personally Daniel Mifsud was the guy that first caught my eye on a purely superficial level, and I think Ben’s just the cutest thing ever … I don’t think Matt’s got the market cornered on looks so if he wins that’s not going to be the reason why.

but Kaylee if idol was based on looks people like Jacob butler while some people may find him attractive to most women he may seem a bit ugly

Well I was crying so much last ngiht when he was in the bottom 3, and then the bottom 2, I am pretty sure I had a heart attack!! Well I was shaking for 3 hours after he was safe, I think I was so happy, and I remember myself runnind and screaming around the house, lol we can’t loose Matt, he is the best talent idol has seen yet, he is just friggin awesome!! And yeh I know a lot of people just like him for his looks, but I first hears him not actually watching the screen and fell in love with his voice, and yeh he wouldnt be in the top 6 (just after last night) if he wasn’t an excellent singer!!

If Natalie wasn’t in the bottom 2 last week I think she would’ve gone on Monday, but after last monday everyone will vote x-trmely hard for her, but seeming was like 3rd I think he has a strong chance of not going. Carl also has a huge fan base, he has a lot of older fans… My verdict is Marty Matt and Carl in the bottom, with Marty leaving. But then it all depends how they do tonight, everyone has chosen pretty good songs, but I know Matt will do great as always, and carl and nat will prolly do good but I dunno I just cant see Marty doing big band….

lol haha I have made 2 websites for him,, cept then I got a virus downloading his songs and yeh well it like blew up my hard drive so I havn’t had a computer for a while, but I did have a total of 333 pictures of matta dn my school diary is jsut full of pics of him and all my books say his name everywhere and M&M (matt and me) and yeaa im makign M&M badges and ahhh im in love :) lol today is a good day because he get sto ask elysse out so I really hope he doesnt get voted off, and I hope he had a great day, and with elysse, cuz she must be liek perfect for him to call her his angel aww :)

oh your so lucky, omg I would do absolutely anything everything to meet him, just to see him live, oh I wish I didn’t live in QLD!!!!! I sued to live in Sydney, lol I have been to Cronulla I used to live very close ahhh but now I live in QLD AND CANT SEE HIM!! lol well I am sure he will tour and I will see him :)

lol yea they diff, I used to live in sydney then blue mountains then I moved to qld and moved from yr 4 to yr 5 in like a week lol!! yeh high school is yr 8-12 and im in yr 9 and yeh lol so yeh and preschool is yr 1 and yr 1 is like yr 2 and kindy is like preschool.. haha so confusing.. lol
