Wow! Amazing Photos from Gyroscope’s New Clip!
Gyroscope has made a real impression with the film clip for their latest single, “Snakeskin.” The Aussie rockers filmed the clip in Wiltshire, near Stonehenge, in the middle of a 200 m crop circle made exclusively for the clip!
The sight of the crop circle caused quite a stir on the net, with many analysing the pattern’s deeper meaning. At the end of the day though, as the pictures show, it just looks really cool. Music trivia buffs should take note: this is actually the same farm where Led Zeppelin shot the crop circles on their Remasters cover! Too cool!
The “Snakeskin” film clip will premier at Gyroscope’s MySpace page on September 12 at 8 pm AEST. It looks great, but what about the song? In a press statement, lead singer Daniel Sanders said the track is “a great representation of our head space and expresses a lot of the emotions and directions we have taken in the creation of our third record.”
That third album is Breed Obsession and we should see it in stores early next year. But you can get a sneak peek of Gyroscope’s new material, including “Snakeskin,” when they tour the country next month with Horsell Common and Calling All Cars. The tour kicks off at Perth’s Club Capitol on October 27 before heading to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide for an all ages show. Tickets will sell quickly, so make sure you get yours when they go on sale on September 20.
